Meet Jayde Scott

Jayde Scott is a British writer most notable for creating the Ancient Legends series. Jayde has had a fascination with Scotland and Scottish folklore ever since visiting a haunted B&B many years ago where strange noises coming from an empty room in the middle of the night scared her to death. Since then, Scotland, world mythology and the paranormal have provided plenty of inspiration and play a key role in all her books. Although she'd rather be a witch than a vampire, Jayde's favorite book is The Queen Of The Damned by Anne Rice, not least because she prefers her vampires dark, broody and deadly. Jayde must have read The Lord Of The Rings trilogy a hundred times and is a huge admirer of Tolkien's distinctive talent for world building and creating fascinating characters.

When she's not writing, she spends her time overloading on caffeine and chocolate muffins, talking about her characters with anyone who will listen, and playing hide and seek with her cats (no kidding, cats are remarkably clever at learning and winning (!) this game).

  2. Where is Jayde Scott? Fans around the world are looking for her over due books. Web page is down, Facebook fan page has not been updated since 2012 and blogs for just as long. Does anyone know the state of her well being?
